EOFY 2023 Instant Asset Write-offs; Security and Audio Visual Upgrades for your Business

With the End of Financial Year approaching on the 30th June 2023, this is your last opportunity this year to consider installing or upgrading your security or display systems and write this off in your tax return.

This is called Temporary Full Expensing, which was created during the pandemic to support smaller businesses and encourage investment. It allows businesses to claim an immediate deduction on the business portion of an eligible asset purchased within that year for tax purposes. For more information on eligibility, visit the ATO website.

Do you need to improve your access to a strong internet connection within your building? Jim’s Antennas can help you with that. Our Franchisees all hold cablers licenses and offer services dedicated to installing and improving WiFi connectivity through Wireless Access Points along with hardwired data points for all office spaces and desks.

If your comms room is a mess, Jim’s Antennas can also provide neat cabling solutions and data racks.

We can also help with TV mounting, AV installation, soundbar and speaker installation to improve your work environment and efficiency.

When considering if you need TV’s mounted in your office, consider the many benefits to having a mounted TV installed in your office as outlined in our blog ‘What are the benefits of having a TV in the office?’. On the other hand, if you need a new antenna installed for your business, we can also assist you with that, as Lee from Jim’s Antennas South Melbourne did by installing a Matchmaster Magna UHF ‘Phased array’ antenna for a Marina office in the Docklands.

Wanting more security for your business? Jim’s Security offers various services dedicated to improving your security such as CCTV and camera systems installation, security alarm systems, intercoms and access control. We offer a variety of brands and packages to best suit your business needs, with a range of brands and product features.

For example, if you need CCTV coverage across multiple of your business locations, read up on Michael from Jim’s Security South Morang’s installation of 6MP Dahua Starlight Cameras in the Bakers Delight in Watergardens Shopping Centre. Alternatively, if you are looking to set up a security system for your café or restaurant, see how Troy from Jim’s Antennas and Security Wollert installed a new CCTV system and set of speakers for a West Melbourne based Cambodian cafe and restaurant.

If you are still contemplating installing a security system for your business, look over our article ‘Why is CCTV Important for your Business?’, which provides information on the importance of security systems for your business.

No matter your communication or security needs – the team from Jim’s Antennas and Jim’s Security are available to help you to take advantage of EOFY saving in your home or commercial office or warehousing space.
