CEL-FI GO SMART SIGNAL BOOSTER FOR RURAL HOME IN THE CITY OF GOLD COAST

Boosters, also commonly known as repeaters, increase the radio frequency (RF) signal from mobile phone towers to extend coverage to metro, regional and rural areas and can also be used to increase the strength of a home’s 4G signal in areas of the home where the strength of the 4G signal connection is weak, either for Mobile Phones or 4G Modems.

A Cel Fi Go can also be used in warehouses and commercial buildings where the poor mobile phone coverage, either due to the area, or because of the buildings make up. Refrigerated warehouses often have poor to no mobile reception due to the buildings insulation.

Bill from Jim’s Antennas South East Queensland, recently installed a Cel-Fi GO Smart Signal Booster  for a home in Mount Nathan, a rural locality in the City of Gold Coast.

In many rural areas that have a small population or low housing density, such as Mount Nathan, new base stations have not been constructed as these areas are not commercially viable for Telco service providers.

As such, prior to the installation of the new booster, the client was unable to receive any phone or data in the house, a common issue in their area.

When completing this installation Bill was required to install a “donor antenna”, which receives signals from near by cell towers and delivers this signal to the mobile booster,

In this case Bill installed a directional antenna to provide his clients with higher gain, and therefore a better signal.

Being a professional installer, he was able to determine the most suitable position to point the antenna to achieve the best results, and reduce intercell interference by ensuring that the donor signal is only drawn from the station the antenna is pointed at.

Bill also installed the Go Smart Signal Booster high up in the roof of the home, and as this booster is indoor and outdoor IP54 rated weather resistant, it is sure to last.

The repeater works by receiving mobile signals through an external antenna and then enhancing and re-transmitting this signal to extend coverage and can provides a range of up to 1, 500 m2 .

After the install was all done, Bill’s client could finally sit back, relax and enjoy full strength 4G reception in the comfort of their own home.
