SAFETY FIRST MEASURES TAKEN WHILE INSTALLING ANTENNAS DURING CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

At Jim’s Antennas, we are continuing to deliver our services in a safe manner for both our customers and franchisees. 

During this difficult time, our franchisees will take the utmost care when visiting clients’ homes. We have taken precautions such as washing and sanitising hands regularly when completing an installation and keeping an appropriate distance of 1.5m from all clients at all times. Where possible our franchisees will also wear face masks. 

We have also altered some of our standard service procedures to adapt to the challenging circumstances presented by COVID-19. In order to minimise person-to-person contact we will no longer be providing customers with physical receipts, sending all invoice and receipts electronically where possible. Our franchisees will also wipe down any surfaces in your home that they have come into contact with (e.g. door handles) using antibacterial wipes. 

Rod from Jim’s Antennas Wyong, recently installed a brand new antenna for a family home on New South Wale’s beautiful central coast. After experiencing poor TV reception and image quality the family called Jim’s to find out what was wrong with their TV. 

Upon recognising that their previous antenna was damaged beyond repair, Rod was able to fix the issue with no fuss while also adhering to the recently implemented safety precautions mentioned above. In a matter of hours, the family was back to enjoying crystal clear reception in the safety and comfort of their own home. 

While we continue to ensure that the safety of you and your family is looked after, we ask that you are mindful of the well-being of franchisees like Rod. We simply request that if you or anyone else in the property are unwell, or have travelled in the past 14 days or been in contact with anyone with a suspected case of COVID-19 that you advise the franchisee or call centre when calling.

    If you are not satisfied with the job, we will inspect it and have any problems fixed. If we believe the job is good and you do not, we will jointly agree on an independent expert to provide a report at our expense, and fix any problems found. Until this is done, you need not pay for the job. If problems are not fixed within a fortnight, any advance will be refunded.

    Only if no problems are found by the expert, will you be asked to pay the agreed price for the job and half the cost of the report.

    If the job is done to get your bond back on leaving a rental property, the job is only considered good when the agent or landlord is satisfied.

    If payment is made in advance and the job not done, the payment will be refunded.
  • $10,000,000 Public Liability
    A public liability policy covers damage to people or property.

    It is in place to protect business owners if someone sues for personal injury or damage to property.
