Fitting an Antenna to an Underground House

Tony, one of our team members who looks after Adelaide, received a call with a challenging task.
To fit an antenna to a house that was underground!! Yes, the home was entirely below ground and the only exposed part of this subterranean home was the skylight.

Tony had the challenging task of fitting the antenna outside and running cabling inside his customer’s house through the skylight. Even though this house is located less than 5kms from Adelaide’s main signal towers, an indoor antenna was ineffective in receiving signals underground.

The job was challenging enough without a roof to mount the antenna on, but these types of installations are becoming a regular occurrence for Tony. Job was completed and the customer was happy with uninterrupted TV pictures.
