Ferntree Gully tower is undergoing the digital retune on Tuesday 23 September. This is because, as has occurred in most parts of Australia, space on the broadcasting spectrum is being created for new services such as mobile broadband.
This means that free-to-air channels ABC, SBS and Ten will be changing frequency. Suburbs affected include: Ferntree Gully, Boronia, Croydon, Croydon South, Bayswater and Kilsyth.
If you receive your digital TV signal from the Ferntree Gully tower then you will need to retune your equipment. Residents of these areas who receive their reception from Melbourne or Upwey have already retuned and will not be affected. Any retuning should be completed after 3.30 p.m. on this day.
If you’re unable to retune and require assistance be sure to call Jim’s Antennas on 1300 733 093 or book online via jimsantennas.com.au.
