Things to clear up in Macarthur and Wollondilly
For years residents on the outskirts of western Sydney have been putting up with poor TV reception and or have massive unsightly flag pole masts on their roof trying to get some sort of reception for free to air TV. With digital transmission starting approximately 10 years ago, depending on where you live things either improved a bit or (in a lot of cases) got worse. What was once a slightly snowy image turned into a picture reminiscent of a badly scratched DVD when you excitedly bought your first digital TV or set top box, thus making you spend even more money to get your reception up to digital standard.
Well good news is on the way. In mid October a new repeater station will commence free to air transmission. This will mean most residents in the greater Macarthur and Wollondilly areas, (and possibly further out) that have been affected by poor TV reception will be able to utilise this repeater and have clean digital signal on your favourite television stations.
Jim’s Antennas and their local franchisees have been monitoring this for quite some time, so when the repeater is switched on they will have the correct equipment necessary to get your home or office building up to speed as soon as possible.
The Jim’s Antennas franchisees stated that in a lot of cases there may be only realigning or a simple changeover to a relevant antenna needed.
If you think this could affect you, you can go to www.digitalready.com.au and type your address in the my switch section of the home page for more information or alternatively call Jim’s Antennas on 131546 to arrange a free quote and they can advise you on what is needed to get clean digital reception on your premises.
