My name is Shane and I am your friendly Antenna, Cabling and Audio Visual specialist in Hawthorn and surrounding suburbs. Since 2005 I have been travelling throughout the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne installing digital antennas, Home Theatre systems, phone and data cables.
Before joining Jim’s Antennas I worked for 12 years as a mechanical engineer for various companies. Looking for a change in direction and the opportunity to be part of a reputable franchise system I joined the Jim’s Antennas team in 2005 and have not looked back. The flexibility it offers for family life is great and I am directly responsible for the success of my business. I have the experience to work on new homes as well as the many 100 year old homes I see in the inner city areas. No job is too hard and I consider myself a specialist on those difficult jobs others shy away from.
I have many Real Estate Agents and builders who regularly use my services. I take pride that a lot of my work comes from referrals from happy customers due to the fact that I am professional, thorough and treat every installation as I would do for my own home. This means being prompt, using quality components, neat work practices and cleaning up after myself. As with all Jim’s Antennas franchisees I am Government Endorsed, have the relevant OH&S training and am fully insured for public property and liability.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, in the pool, on the bikes and having a kick of the footy. I like to spend time out on the deck with family and friends whilst listening to music streaming wirelessly through my multizone AV system.

A police check is issued as an official document to verify a background check by police or government agency to enumerate any criminal records a service provider may have.

$1,000,000 Work Guarantee
This guarantee is up to one million dollars for work done by Jim's Group Franchisees.
If you are not satisfied with the job, we will inspect it and have any problems fixed. If we believe the job is good and you do not, we will jointly agree on an independent expert to provide a report at our expense, and fix any problems found. Until this is done, you need not pay for the job. If problems are not fixed within a fortnight, any advance will be refunded.
Only if no problems are found by the expert, will you be asked to pay the agreed price for the job and half the cost of the report.
If the job is done to get your bond back on leaving a rental property, the job is only considered good when the agent or landlord is satisfied.
If payment is made in advance and the job not done, the payment will be refunded. -

A public liability policy covers damage to people or property.
It is in place to protect business owners if someone sues for personal injury or damage to property.
