Need your antenna looked at? Why not add anti-bird spikes too?

Okay, so maybe you only need help with your TV reception, it could be pixelating or even worse you’re only getting one or two channels. If this is the case and you have tried all of the things that you can do at home, like ensuring your TV and power cables are connected to the wall sockets as well as the TV, performing an auto or manual scan for TV channels, then it is time to call the experts at Jim’s Antennas.

Your local Franchise will do a full assessment of your current antenna system and diagnose any reception problems using specialised equipment. In most circumstances our technician is able to fix the problem for you on that very same day – it means you’ll be enjoying your favourite TV shows with perfect picture clarity and no more annoying drop outs.

For those who require a new antenna and are tired of those pesky birds who poop all over the roof or drive way, your local techexpert will be able to add anti-bird spikes to the antenna. Anti-bird spikes are designed to provide an effective deterrent of birds. The pointed spikes prevent the birds from sitting on your antenna and making a mess of your roof.

Only recently Luke from Jim’s Antennas Shepparton had a customer  that was having pixelation issues with their TV. After testing the TV wall point, it was found that the signal strength and quality was extremely poor, which was causing the pixelation. After inspecting the existing antennas, it was found that they were old analogue antennas and that the existing analogue amplifier had detached from the antenna pole, was upside down and full of water.

The existing antennas and amplifier were removed. The mount was still in good condition so a new digital antenna was installed on it. A new digital amplifier was installed along with some anti-bird spikes on the antenna to prevent any birds from sitting on it and pooping all over the roof. Now the customer can happily watch TV again with a perfect picture.

So, whether you need your antenna repaired or replaced or you would just like to have anti-bird spikes added to your current one, call 131 546 or book here to arrange your free onsite, no obligation quote today.
