Backyard Cel-Fi Access Point Installation in Melbourne’s North East

Michael from Jim’s Antennas South Morang was recently contacted by a long time customer who was experiencing a weak WiFi signal in their backyard.

As Michael’s client is working from home at the moment, on a sunny day he often enjoys sitting by the pool to do his work. However, due to WiFi connectivity a relaxing work set-up with a beautiful view turned into a quite frustrating experience for this client.

Luckily Michael was readily available to assist and solved the issue by installing a Ubiquiti AC Pro access point, which he neatly concealed under the pergola.

The Ubiquiti access point works by boosting the signal from the indoor router out into the backyard to provide a wider reach and stronger signal! Unlike wireless range extenders, this device can be joined under the same network name as the indoor router, eliminating the inconvenience of having to switch networks when moving from indoors to outdoors.

While completing this installation Michael also wall-mounted a TV for his client. Now not only will this client be able to enjoy a game of footy in their pergoal, but they can also work with a beautiful pool-side view and use TV streaming services interruption free thanks to their now fast and far-reaching internet.
