Full credit goes out to Matt of Jim’s Antennas Moana and Shane of Jim’s Antennas Salisbury, who braved the heat and successfully completed January’s edition of the Bupa Challenge Tour, an undercard for the Tour Down Under, a cycling race in and around Adelaide that attracts the finest cyclists from around the world.
Both Matt and Shane finished the Bupa Challenge Tour, a grueling 154.5 km course, which commenced in Unley, journeyed through Meadows, Mount Compass and Yankalilla and finished in Victor Harbor. Matt and Shane advised that they both had enough energy for a sprint finish, but neither actually stated who finished ahead of the other.
I guess we will settle for an honorable draw! Matt and Shane will be saddling up again in 2015, and have decided to raise funds for the South Australian Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project.
