Recently, Steve from Jim’s Antennas Heathmont had the opportunity to work on a challenging project in a double-story home, where he expertly installed network and home audio wiring, ensuring the homeowner’s setup was nothing short of perfect.

Comprehensive Wiring Solutions

The project required the installation of data cabling and access points both upstairs and downstairs. This was no small feat, as it involved running cables through floors and accessing tight spaces through downlights. Steve navigated these challenges with precision, ensuring that the entire house had seamless network connectivity.

Custom Solutions for Audio Wiring

In addition to network wiring, the customer wanted their home audio system set up in the garage area, where their amplifier and network switch were located. To meet these requirements, optical and TV cabling was run to the garage, ensuring that the audio quality would be top-tier.

One of the standout features of this project was the installation of in-ceiling speakers. Steve utilized a custom-designed drilling tool, capable of cutting 150mm holes, to ensure that the speakers were perfectly fitted. This required drilling through noggins, studs, joists, and floors, showcasing his expertise and dedication to achieving the best results.

Precision and Expertise

The complexity of this project meant cutting through plaster and drilling through multiple layers of the house’s structure. Despite the challenges, Steve completed the installation with minimal disruption to the home’s interior. However, as with any detailed work of this nature, the customer was required to plaster and paint the affected areas after the job was finished.

Until this is done, you need not pay for the job. If problems are not fixed within a fortnight, any advance will be refunded.

Only if no problems are found by the expert, will you be asked to pay the agreed price for the job and half the cost of the report.

If the job is done to get your bond back on leaving a rental property, the job is only considered good when the agent or landlord is satisfied.

If payment is made in advance and the job not done, the payment will be refunded.
