The Importance of Safety When Installing a New Antenna.

Installing a new antenna may seem like a straightforward task, but it involves significant safety risks, especially when working at heights. At Jim’s Antennas, we prioritise your safety and the longevity of your antenna installation. This is why we strongly recommend hiring our professionals for the job.

Why Safety is Crucial in Antenna Installation

Risk of Falls

Working on rooftops can be dangerous, particularly if the surface is wet or slippery. Falls from heights can lead to serious injuries.

Electrical Hazards

It’s important when running cabling to maintain a safe distance from electrical cabling and ensure there are no “live” wires which can charge a roof space or cavity. Without proper knowledge and equipment, there’s a risk of electrocution.

Structural Damage

Incorrect installation can damage your roof, leading to leaks and other costly repairs.

Quality of Installation

Professionals ensure that your antenna is installed correctly, providing the best signal reception and longevity.
