If you require high-speed internet access in areas that are not currently well-served by terrestrial internet providers, then Starlink is the option for you. It’s wide coverage, low cost, and innovative technology make it an attractive option for customers who are looking for an alternative to traditional internet services.
Although, Starlink are sold as a DIY product, it often requires professional installation. Especially since the only technical assistance available to customers through Starlink is an online portal – which isn’t much help if your internet isn’t working! They can also be damaged if in inexperienced hands, which is why we recommend you call the team at Jim’s Antennas.
Our experts will assess your site, determining the best location and height for the mount to receive the best possible signal. Once assessed, they will then securely mount the Starlink satellite dish to the roof of your property (or other suitable location) and run cabling that connects the Starlink satellite dish to the router. Once complete, your Jim’s Antennas technician will run an internet speed test to check the download and upload speed, and to ensure that your new internet connection is fast and reliable.
Only recently, Param from Jim’s Antennas Mount Waverly & Donvale had a customer who was on FTTN NBN service, with the max speed 12Mbps, but after the Starlink install it jumped to 276Mbps. For this particular install, Param used a heavy duty mount, that is strong, rigid and robust, as the customer lives in a Valley where the winds can be very strong. The mount is 2 metres high, as the property is surrounded by trees and Starlink requires a clear view of the sky.
So, if you have a Starlink Kit that you would like to have professionally installed, now is the time to call Jim’s Antennas. Our quotes are free, onsite and there is no obligation. To arrange your quote call 131 546 or book here.
