This is an important question. Do you have a home security system or are you considering one? According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, between 2020 – 2021 an estimated 9.4% of households (919,500) experienced one or more household crimes, ranging from break-ins, attempted break-ins to motor vehicle theft.
These stats alone should help you make the right decision for your household. By installing a home security system you are protecting your property, family and possessions, from potential break-ins, violence and vandalism.
If you are unsure of which one is the best for your properties structure, budget and needs, it’s best to speak with the professionals at Jim’s Antennas. You will be surprised to know that our team work closely with the licensed experts at Jim’s Security to assist our clients with installation and repairs of:
Recently, Michael from Jim’s Antennas & Security South Morang, installed 6 x 6mp starlight cameras in a double story home for a customer. Double story houses always provide a challenge as it can be very difficult to run cables between the 1st and 2nd floors of the home. But at Jim’s Antennas we love a challenge!
With this particular job, Michael’s customer had two requests, which was to have one camera at the front door and with no conduit to be used. Conduit is a tube which is used to protect electric wiring. As you can see with the image below, the results speak for themselves. Not a single bit of conduit was used and Michael was able to sit the camera nicely at the front door.
