Wondering If It’s Above Or Below; that the soundbar should go?

Have you decided that now is the time to mount your TV and soundbar to the wall, to create a more spacious and stylish room? If you said yes – then bravo. Not only will it change the look of your room for the better, but it’s also the safest option for households with children and pets.

So, now that the decision has been made, it’s time to work out where you want to position your TV and soundbar. And this is where some customers get stuck with whether the soundbar should be placed above or below the mounted TV. Is there really a correct way? It’s like asking if the toilet paper should be over or under. Or if you should keep chocolate in the pantry or fridge…. Either way what it really comes down to is your personal preference. Although, most of our Jim’s Antennas Franchisees tend to place the soundbar below the TV, as they feel that it looks cleaner and visually better. But, it’s not just about what looks best. There are other advantages.

For examples: Placing the soundbar under the TV means the audio travels directly to you. There is no sideway scattering or reflection off the ceiling, which results in less echo and a much better audio experience overall.

This is exactly why Michael from Jim’s Antennas & Security South Morang placed his customer’s sound bar below their mounted TV (which he also installed and mounted). If you are still unsure of what would look best in your room, why not call 131 546 or book here, to arrange your free onsite, no obligation quote with your friendly expert at Jim’s Antennas.
