Okay, so you’ve bought your brand new TV, you finally have brought it home, but it just doesn’t look like it did in the store. What do you do? Well, you call Jim’s Antennas. Whatever you do, do not attempt to install or mount your TV yourself. Wall mounting is not as easy as it seems. So many disasters can occur, like damage to the new TV, the walls, electrical cables or even worse, to you, when in-experienced hands are involved.


Sometimes in the excitement of buying a new television, we find that people use the wrong cabling or don’t install the television bracket properly. There are so many things to consider before mounting your new TV, like where to put it, or what TV bracket to buy, to making sure that you actually have it near a power and TV point.


At Jim’s Antennas our technicians will not only advise you of the best TV bracket, they will also mount your screen neatly and professionally, giving you peace of mind that it is secure and safe; particularly important if you have young children in the home.


In some cases, you may need another power point to be installed before you can even mount your TV, which your local Franchise can help arrange for you.

    If you are not satisfied with the job, we will inspect it and have any problems fixed. If we believe the job is good and you do not, we will jointly agree on an independent expert to provide a report at our expense, and fix any problems found. Until this is done, you need not pay for the job. If problems are not fixed within a fortnight, any advance will be refunded.

    Only if no problems are found by the expert, will you be asked to pay the agreed price for the job and half the cost of the report.

    If the job is done to get your bond back on leaving a rental property, the job is only considered good when the agent or landlord is satisfied.

    If payment is made in advance and the job not done, the payment will be refunded.

    A public liability policy covers damage to people or property.

    It is in place to protect business owners if someone sues for personal injury or damage to property.
