Before your local Franchise mounts your TV to the wall, they will assess the following:

Is the wall strong enough to handle the TV. Most walls can support your TV but you need to be careful with the stud walls. It’s crucial that your wall can withstand the TV bracket and TV to prevent damage and risk of injury.
Do you have the right cabling and can they be hidden inside the wall or behind the TV?
Is the positioning the right height and angle? You don’t want it to high (sore necks) or in a position that limits viewing from all areas across the room. There are so many different types of brackets from flush wall mount to swivel to ceiling mounted. Your local expert will recommend the best bracket that suits your needs and room size.
Are you mounting the TV above a fire-place? It is only recommend that it be above an electric heater, as the excess heat from a fireplace can definitely damage a TV.

If you are not satisfied with the job, we will inspect it and have any problems fixed. If we believe the job is good and you do not, we will jointly agree on an independent expert to provide a report at our expense, and fix any problems found. Until this is done, you need not pay for the job. If problems are not fixed within a fortnight, any advance will be refunded.

Only if no problems are found by the expert, will you be asked to pay the agreed price for the job and half the cost of the report.

If the job is done to get your bond back on leaving a rental property, the job is only considered good when the agent or landlord is satisfied.

If payment is made in advance and the job not done, the payment will be refunded.
