Security Alarm installations are keeping Matt from Jims Antennas Moana really busy.
His latest job involved providing an alarm system for a double storey property in one of Adelaide’s Southern suburbs.
The advantage of using the Paradox branded alarm is that some of the sensors can be connected wirelessly, which removes the need for cabling completely. The task of cabling can sometimes be very difficult in some buildings, and of course adds to cost for the client.
Being able to use wireless connectivity leads to great savings, which we are happy to pass on. The wireless sensors are also highly reliable (false alarm free), have great battery life, and are also ‘pet friendly’ so the customer’s dog or cat doesn’t have to be locked away while the owner is at work.
Even though this setup is wireless, the control panel still needs to be programmed to suit the needs of the owner and the property. This owner decided to use the touch screen code-pad, mainly because of its user friendly appearance and the ability to add photographs to a visual slideshow to make it look good in the house too.
All of the doors and windows have sensors to allow for a comprehensive intruder alert while still allowing full movement around the house for the family.
The included key fob remote allows for one touch arming & disarming making the whole experience much easier for all family members.
More straightforward systems can be designed to suit your needs while still having the advantage of potentially lowering Insurance premiums too!
